Access is Only the Beginning
Getting a child into school matters. But access alone does not create opportunity. Children need strong learning foundations, confidence, life skills, and support to keep learning beyond school. They also need pathways that turn education into better life outcomes.

Education Expands What is Possible for Girls
Education is especially transformative for girls. When girls learn, they experience improved health, avoid early marriage, and lifetime earnings increase, thereby strengthening families and communities.
In Pakistan, however, girls face additional barriers to staying in school, particularly as they grow older. Safety concerns, poverty, distance to schools, and social norms mean that girls are more likely to drop out at the secondary level. Yet evidence shows that when these barriers are addressed, families choose education for their daughters.
