Access is only the beginning
Millions more children need a place in school. But being enrolled is not enough. Children also need capable teachers, safe and supportive classrooms, strong learning foundations and the confidence and skills to move forward in life.
Pakistan also needs clearer pathways after school, stronger support for families and communities, and an education system that learns from what works.

Change Begins with Education

How Five Schools Became a Movement
What began with a few schools in Karachi has grown into one of Pakistan’s largest education networks, built with teachers, families, communities, alumni, volunteers and supporters.
What quality education takes
TCF builds schools within underserved communities so children can learn closer to home. Women from those communities are recruited and trained as teachers and principals, creating environments where families feel confident sending their children to school.
Inside the classroom, students receive a child centred education designed to strengthen learning, confidence, values and readiness for life. Families remain active partners throughout the journey.
Our support also continues beyond school through pathways into intermediate education, university, skills and work. Beyond the individual child, TCF uses learning, community relationships and its experience at scale to contribute to stronger communities and the wider education system.
