Parallel Pathways is TCF’s skills development program for alumni, providing scholarships for diplomas, courses and certifications that build practical, job-ready skills, through partner institutes. Open to any TCF alumnus who has completed Matric, with no age or class restriction, it’s for those not continuing formal education after Matric or Intermediate, and for those already in Intermediate or university who want extra skills alongside their studies. Courses run from 2 to 3 months up to full diplomas of 2 to 3 years, on campus and online.

Beyond employment, it eases the jump from Intermediate to university, strengthens graduates already there, and builds a habit of learning that keeps paying off for alumni and their families.

TCF’s Intermediate Program supports alumni as they move from matric into their next stage, whichever path that takes. Across the regions, areas and schools where TCF works, merit-based scholarships and financial support reach eligible students, while guidance and enrolment support reaches every matriculating student, funded or not.

The program meets alumni at exactly the moment they’re choosing their next step, helping them understand their options and move forward with a plan instead of uncertainty.
