Shabina Kanwal studied from TCF School in Saifal Goth, Karachi. She is now teaching at a TCF Primary School in Saindad and simultaneously studying for a Bachelors degree. Her successful academic phase and currently her respectable job have greatly influenced her conservative extended-family. Her uncles, aunts and other relatives are convinced that girls should be sent to school. Shabina’s cousin Mehak, is a grade VIII student at TCF School.
When speaking about their student days, TCF Alumni remember the individual attention, the small class sizes, the fact that they were in a well equipped and clean environment. All of this combines to inspire these young girls to join TCF Faculty. Around 165 TCF Alumni have been recruited in 2013 alone.
