Digital Literacy Programme

Preparing children for a world built on technology

Digital literacy is now as fundamental as reading and writing. We're building the curriculum, devices, and skills our students need to solve problems, communicate, and compete long after they leave our classrooms.

Preparing children for a world built on technology
Why It Matters

Technology as a new form of literacy

Digital literacy has become as fundamental as reading and writing. Technology in the classroom helps both teacher and student, and the ability to use and create it to solve real problems is now its own form of literacy, one that makes lessons more interactive, sharpens problem solving, and opens doors to employment long after a student leaves our schools.

That’s why we’re bringing technology into learning and school management across Pakistan, not just by putting devices in children’s hands, but by building the logical thinking and skills they need to use them well.

What we do
A New Computer Science

Curriculum Five strands, built for young learners

A curriculum that introduces computer science basics in a format that's fun, accessible, and relevant, from the fundamentals of ICT to algorithmic thinking, digital citizenship, and entrepreneurship in the digital age.

Revamping Computer Labs

A tablet for every student

We’re replacing computers with high performing tablets across our secondary schools, giving each student their own device in a peer learning model that our own research shows strengthens retention, academic achievement, and social and oral skills alike.

On the tablet, children use tools like Scratch to learn software based programming as early as Grade 6.

What we do
Blended Learning

Technology alongside the textbook, not instead of it

We’re working with EdTech partners to raise engagement and improve outcomes through high quality digital content. Teachers pair this material with traditional classroom teaching to bring textbook concepts to life, supported by AV rooms equipped with the hardware to make it possible.

What we do
Technology for Management

Better devices, better data

We’re replacing the older Android tablets and phones that TCF teachers and principals use to run our School Management Application, the system already improving transparency and efficiency at every school, with newer devices that strengthen how we collect and manage student data.

What we do

Help put technology in a child's hands

A tablet, a curriculum, a chance to compete in a digital world. Your support helps us bring all three to classrooms across Pakistan.
